Welcome and “griaß di”! We’re glad that you are interested in a family vacation at our hotel. We would like to introduce ourselves. Your hosts will be Gerhard and Sabine Scherer and their children Arian, Luis and Leni. Family means a lot to us because without its strong bond and team spirit our dream of the Almfamilyhotel would never have come true. We had the idea of building a hotel specifically for the needs that a family has on their holiday. Our professional training and the experience we had gained in the catering and tourism business enabled us to bit by bit turn this vision into reality.

The story of the family hotel begins here

In 1976, the parents Maria and Konrad Scherer lay the foundation for the Almfamilyhotel when they built the ConnyAlm at the Golzentipp. But a long time would pass until we broke ground in 2014. This happened after a period of careful planning. We put our heart and soul into the construction, imagining what we would need to enjoy a holiday at a hotel with our children. After 14 months of construction, the Almfamilyhotel opened its doors right at the start of the winter season 2015. Even today, we keep changing and expanding our hotel to make sure that guests of all ages will enjoy their stay with us. A short while ago we opened our new Waterworld that is dominated by a large swimming pool and a fun water slide.
